What is Power Flow?

Turbo 26 offers Power Flow heated yoga throughout the day. Power Flow is a fast-flow, fitness-based vinyasa practice that builds internal heat and improves stamina, strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. Since our classes are only 26 minutes long, we eliminate most of the resting poses typically found in yoga classes and focus on the flow, matching breath to movement.  Check our schedule for times and instructor bios.

What is Power Fusion?

Turbo 26 offers Power fusion classes that add calisthenic exercises into traditional yoga sequences. Think squats, push-ups, and toe-taps to get your heart rate up and your sweat on. This high-intensity, fun class is a great way to combine the calorie-burning benefits of compound movements with the mind-body benefits of yoga. Check our schedule for times and instructor bios.

What are the new class formats?

Turbo 26 has added hot Pilates and HIIT (high intensity interval training) classes to the schedule. These classes are high energy workouts that use Pilates principles of control and alignment to target the core and fire up the major muscle groups. The Pilates classes are mat based, and the HIIT classes are cardio based. Check our schedule for details, times and instructor bios.

When are your hour-long classes?

Turbo 26 offers hour-long classes twice a day. Check our schedule for exact times.

Are Turbo 26 classes too advanced for a beginner?

Turbo 26 classes are designed to be challenging, but accessible, to all levels. All classes are taught to the mid-line with modifications offered for beginners and up-level options for advanced yogis. You will see all levels of practice happening at the same time in the same space and everyone is practicing what works best for their bodies at that time.

Do Turbo 26 classes have Savasana or meditation?

Yes. Transitions from one26-minute class to the next often involve a beautiful reset in savasana. We believe in guiding yogis through breath & mindfulness, and we love savasana as a way to clear your mind and prepare for what’s next, on or off your mat. Hour-long classes also offer savasana to close out class - you'll love it!

How hot is Turbo 26?

Our studio has a state-of-the-art climate control that provides healthy heat. The room is maintained at 98 degrees (very close to body temperature) with 30 percent humidity. In addition, and especially important, our system pumps fresh oxygen into the studio all day long. That means there is always fresh air to breathe, and it never gets stuffy or stinky. It’s actually healthful to be in the Turbo 26 Studio space. We set the climate so your body warms up quickly and moves with maximum flexibility and fluidity. It’s pretty amazing! Read more here.

Are your instructors certified?

Yes. All our amazing instructors have Yoga Alliance RYT-200 or better, plus specialized training in the Turbo 26 method. We think our instructors are the best on the planet, and we hope you’ll agree! Read their bios here.

How do the “stackable” classes work?

Turbo 26 classes start every half hour nearly all day long. Yogis can come for one 26-minute class or stay for multiple classes in a row. Just check the schedule in advance, then show up for the start time you want and stay as long as you like. The sequencing doesn’t repeat and never gets boring. Our instructors are amazing all the time but especially during the 4-minute transitions, as some yogis are coming, some are going, and some are staying.

Why 26 minutes?

In today’s busy, stressed, obsessed world, it can be hard to find time for fitness, let alone a 75-minute or 90-minute yoga class. At Turbo 26, we respect all types of yoga, and we want to see more people doing more yoga, and getting more of the mind-body benefit we love so much about yoga. So, we created a sequencing format that offers the most benefit in the shortest time. 26 minutes is plenty to gain strength, flexibility, balance, and focus – and isn’t doing 26 minutes of yoga better than not doing 90 minutes of yoga because you don’t have time?

What will 26 minutes of yoga do for me?

At Turbo 26, we believe that what you can accomplish on your mat, you can achieve in your life. We want you to reach every audacious goal you set for yourself, so start on your mat and push your boundaries. Try that arm balance you’ve been afraid of. Take up a little more space on your mat. Be bold. What have you got to lose? One of the beautiful things about yoga – among many – is that when you exhaust your body, you open your mind. There is no better time than after yoga (well, after a shower after yoga) to make tough decisions, have difficult conversations, or find a breakthrough to a challenging problem. At Turbo 26, we hope to inspire you to live your best life – on and off your mat.

What if I’m running late?

Of course, it’s best to be on time, or even a little bit early for class. We want you to take your time preparing for class and getting settled at the studio. However, at Turbo 26, we know that if you’re running late, it probably means your stressed and need yoga more than ever! We allow a five minute grace period on all classes, but there’s no hard rule about that - just come when you can. Please note that we lock the doors when there is no concierge at the desk, typically Saturdays and Sundays for the hour-long classes at 12:30 and 2:00 PM.
